What tends to work
The Architect's steadiness gives The Open Wire somewhere solid to land. The Open Wire's perception gives The Architect early warning about how people actually feel, long before it shows up as a problem.
Where it strains
The Architect may offer a plan when The Open Wire needs to be heard. The Open Wire may read that calm as distance, while The Architect experiences The Open Wire's reaction as sudden, because they did not see it building.
What helps
Say which you need: a plan, or company. And say what you have noticed before it grows. Both of you tend to do better with a clear sentence than with a guess.
